Cast Iron Skillet Handle Cover (Qty 1): Full Grain Leather Cast Iron Skillet Handle Cover
These cast iron skillet handle covers are made from the finest full-grain leather and can handle the heat of what you've got cooking.
To make, we hand-cut two, 9 to 10 oz thick pieces of full-grain leather then machine stitch them together. This current lot is made from Saddle Brown Harness with white stitching.
Once stitched, we burnish the stacked edges for a beautiful layered-looking finish.
These skillet covers are designed to fit Lodge cast iron skillets with some ease, but will also fit other skillets with a bit of effort. They will loosen well with use. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee an exact fit for your pan, though it is scaled to fit most general use skillets.
*THESE COVERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WHILE COOKING, but rather to use when removing the pan from heat with the help of a second pot holder. They also serve as handle protectors in storage. The handles will char on an open flame (of course, you may like that look).
This handle cover is made to fit like a glove and to season over time--as well as your favorite cast iron!
